Flaked maize (corn) is the base of many bourbons. Because it's pre-gelatinized it is much easier to convert the sugar from than cracked corn. This flaked corn is of high quality and is highly recommended for making bourbons and other spirits where corn is recommended or the flavor is desired.
It can also be used in Aaron's Thin Mash Whiskey recipe to make moonshine or a simple bourbon.
