This package includes all of the basic gear as recommended in How To Distill to get started!
Includes:
- 7.9 Gallon Bucket with Spigot
- Bucket Lid With Grommet
- Airlock For Fermenter
- Stick-on Fermentation Thermometer
- Specific Gravity Hydrometer
- Transfer Tubing For Spigot
This is a basic distilling home fermentation kit. You will be able to ferment most washes from 4-6 gallons with this kit.
Some considerations & tips:
This does not include a test jar for taking hydrometer readings. You should be able to use the included tube the hydrometer came in to float the hydrometer for a reading.
This kit does not include a racking cane or auto-siphon and relies on the spigot to empty the fermenter. You may need one if you are transferring into your fermenter from another vessel.
This kit does not include a large spoon for mixing dextrose, molasses, or other types of sugar you may be fermenting.
