StillSmith Account Deletion Request

At StillSmith, we respect your privacy and give you control over your data. If you wish to delete your StillSmith account and all associated data, please follow the steps below.

How to Request Account Deletion:

If you are unable to delete your account directly through the StillSmith app, you can submit an account deletion request by emailing our support team at aaronhyde@gmail.com.

In your email, please include the following information:

  1. Your Email Address: The email address associated with your StillSmith account.
  2. Your Full Name: The name you used when registering your account.
  3. Subject Line: "StillSmith Account Deletion Request"

Our team will process your request promptly. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been successfully deleted.

What Data Will Be Deleted or Kept:

Upon successful account deletion, StillSmith will delete the following data associated with your account:

  • Account Information: Your email address and full name used for account login.
  • Recipe Data: All recipes you have created and saved within the StillSmith app, including fermentables, distillation parameters, aging notes, and bottling details.
  • Fermentation Logs: Any historical data logs recorded for your recipes.
  • Personal Settings: Any personalized app settings or preferences.

Data Retention:

We retain certain anonymous usage data for analytical purposes to improve the app's performance and features, which cannot be linked back to your personal identity. We may also retain data for a limited period if legally required or for legitimate business purposes such, as fraud prevention or addressing user support inquiries, after which it will be securely purged. We will keep data in our system for at least 30 days after deletion, or as required by applicable laws.
